Default 1987 70hp/ no fire?

I got a 87 70hp mercury, when I got it it had no fire. I put a stator and a trigger switch on it and get very little fire on one cylinder only. Help me get on the water...

Default switches???

If it was the ignition or landyard switch there should be no fire at all should it? I got a bit of weak fire on one cylinder.

Weak fire is usually the stator or switch box thats bad.

I think the problem is with the switch box.Do check it once.Or get it checked by some one expert in it.
