Will an eaton (square) motor fit where I removed a round (prestolite) motor for my trim/tilt motor/pump ? There are too many different replacement parts to pick the correct one on line. Prestolite has changed hands three times since this motor/pump was made, making it difficult to trace.

good luck w/ that one. have a well-known starter/altinator shop rebuild your old one and call it good.
