I just inherited this 72 and trying to restore myself. Why you ask? I am an auto tech for last 20 years and very good one but I took one look at this and must admit im lost. First, I need to find out where I can buy a distributor complete ass. It has thunderbolt ignition inline 6 with 3 carbs. 2 stroke. Next question is , is this a good motor to work with ???? like a small block chevy is to a muscle car or is it not worth repairing

The part number for distributor is 2799A11 but it is no longer available, We don't have any.
