I have a 2000 115 2 stroke. It apparently has a gas saving feature which allows it to idle on 2 cylinders at 1800 RPM or less. On some occasions the idle seems too low and will actually die when put into gear. Also, during hard acceleration it takes a few seconds to really get going before the other 2 cylinders kick in. It's been like this since new and the dealer has told me that this is normal. Does anyone know if this feature can be removed so that all 4 cylinders are always active?

Is there no other way to overide the system?
